Ken Jacuzzi has over three decades of CEO / management experience in manufacturing,
marketing, and research and development in the United States, Europe, and China.
Ken contracted juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of two, leaving him mobile in
a wheelchair for the greatest part of his life.
His exposure to business began from early childhood when his father, Candido, invented
the Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath to provide him hydrotherapy treatments at home.
Ken grew up in tandem with the expansion of the Jacuzzi business. After the sale of his family's enterprise, Ken participated in the creation of a high-tech research and development company. He subsequently became the chief of a state government agency and has taught entrepreneurship and business management in the U.S. and abroad. Ken has also been engaged in a number of entrepreneurial endeavors, involving the development and marketing of educational and voice-recognition software for personal computers.
Ken has a BA from St. Mary's College, Moraga, California, and a MBA in International
Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, Arizona.
In addition to English, Ken speaks Italian, Spanish, and some French.
He has and/or continues to serve on the boards of a community bank, a multi-hospital
healthcare system, a graduate school of business, several start-ups,
other healthcare and several local and national public-advocacy nonprofits.
Ken is a Professional Certified Coach, "PCC," and member of the
International Coach Federation, "ICF."
His extensive travel and work, both in the United States and abroad, has given Ken a vast amount of business experience and exceptional survival skills. This world-savvy exposure and training, combined with his nearly lifelong disability, has given Ken the insight and passion that make him unique among business coaches and managers.
Ken is currently serving as the full-time Executive Director of the Arizona Office on Americans with Disabilities. He sometimes accepts coaching and consulting assignments if they can be fitted into his schedule.
